The Natural History Museum in Colchester is housed in the unique setting of the former All Saints Church and focuses on the rich natural heritage of north-east Essex.  This is the place to go for information on local wildlife.  There's always something interesting to see and it's free!

There are hands-on-displays, live animals plus a chuchyard nature reserve and a well stocked shop. So if you've always wondered about the wildlife in Colchester and that includes you! - why not pop in? It's free!

The Natural History Museum is situated opposite the main gates to the Castle Park at the eastern end of the High Street. The nearest car parks are St Botolph's, Britannia and Osborne Street. The museum is a five minute walk from the bus station and Colchester Town railway station.
