Description

Highwoods Kids Club is run for the benefit of the families of the local area at Highwoods CP SChool.

We are not a part of the school, but are a non-profit making organisation, registered as a charity (No. 1089524), and run by a committee of trustees that includes parents.


Who can use the club?

At present we take children from three local schools, Highwoods, Brinkley Grove and St. John's. Children from Brinkley Grove and St. John's are collected and escorted to the Club.
If your child attends another local school, we would still like to hear from you.


What ages do we take?

We take any children who are in full-time education at a primary school, that is from rising five to eleven.


Opening hours

We are open from 7.30am for breakfast children are then escorted to school.  We are then open from 3pm until 6pm for 'After-School' clubs.
Children may be collected when it is convenient to you at any time before this. However, if you want to collect before 5:30pm, please let us know so that we can ensure that your child has finished activities.
A snack such as sandwiches, pasta or beans on toast is provided every day.We provide healty snacks ie: fresh fruit and vegetables as an alternative.

We are based at Highwoods Community Primary School in Tynedale Square (behind Highwoods TESCO).
