Description


A small family run Restaurant, Smokery and Delicatessen set in rural East Mersea surrounded by fields and sea.

We supply traditional home-cooked British food made with local fish, meat, game and vegetables.  Savoury puddings, casseroles, freshly caught fish and locally grown vegetables.  Steamed Spotted Dick, sweet puddings, cakes and scones.

We serve breakfast , lunch and dinner - times adjust according to the season.

Fully licenced with a large selection of Real Ales.

Most items on the menu are available in our adjacent Real Food Shop to take home.

We offer a selection of home-smoked, jams, pickles and relishes.

Outside catering is available.

We run the West Mersea Farmers Market at the Royal British Legion, on the first Saturday of every month between 9 - 12 where you can buy our own produce aswell as that of other local producers.
