Stanway based Supastars Academy are delighted announce that we are running a FREE workshop in partnership with Slack Space on Sunday 1st May.

The workshop will take place from 3.00pm until 6.00pm at
Slack Space in Queen Street, Colchester.

The session is open to all young people to come and try out an instrument. We have electric guitars, bass guitars, electronic drums kits, amplifiers, PA’s, microphones, and a range of percussion. Or bring your own (guitars and hand drums only please).

If you already play an instrument come along and jam with us. If you don’t, don’t worry because our experienced facilitators will be on hand to help you get to grips with the instrument of your choice. Plus, through the session we will have some special Q & A sessions with local musicians who may also play a few songs!

Supastars Academy
has been running since January, held every Sunday in term time at The Stanway School in the main hall and two music
rooms. Students from 9 to 16 learn a range of instruments, form bands and play real gigs.
