Colchester Toy Library

Colchester Toy Library lends toys and equipment to families and groups who have children 0 - 11 years, particularly those with special needs.  We support special needs families by loaning specialised toys and equipment as well as providing play sessions and respite care during holidays.  Families, groups, childminders and foster parents can also visit Colchester Toy Library to seek advice, borrow toys or to let the children themselves try out the toys.

We can deliver toys for those who are unable to travel, have children with learning difficulties or low income.  We can also loan our members a bulk supply of toys for parties in return for a donation.

Membership costs £10, renewable annually.  No charge is made for borrowing individual toys, this is covered by the £5 membership, although we do ask for a donation when borrowing toys for parties.
