2 New Football 5-a-side leagues for Colchester

The UK’s leading 5-a-side football operator, PITCH INVASION, has had so much success with their long running leagues in the Colchester area that they have been forced to open two new leagues to cope. Demand from other players and teams in the area has caused Pitch Invasion to create these two new leagues starting in September.

The first new league in Colchester is taking place at the Colchester United FC, United Way, CO4 5UP on a Tuesday night between 8pm and 10pm.
The second new league in Colchester is taking place at University of Essex Sports Centre, Wivenhoe, CO4 3SU on a Monday night between 7pm and 10pm.

Even though five-a-side is still regarded by some as a relatively new sport, the Football Association has announced that it is the most popular team sport in England. Recently 5-a-side officially overtook 11-a-side as the most popular playing format. The FA has awarded Pitch Invasion as the “2007 UK Small Sided Competition Provider” in recognition of its superb league organisation and disciplinary standards.
